Learning Community 3

We hope our happy campers are having a great time at Somers, and are looking forward to hearning all about it when they get back.

Meanwhile, back at school, we are continuing to learn about fractions. Here are some of the activities we have used to learn about equivalent fractions and adding mixed numbers (the oranges were delicious!).

Earlier in the term we were lucky enough to get some expert instruction about Lacross from our sports coach.

"It was lots of fun and we learnt some very important skills to play Lacross. The 5/6's really enjoyed it!" (Jai Sellers)

To finish off our work on writing fables, we met with the 3/4 team and shared our stories. It was great to see everyone listening to each other's work and giving some positive feedback. There were some very important morals and lessons that were shared. Great work everyone!
