Principal's Report

Dear Families & Carers,

The weather is just starting to warm up which is a delight for us all to experience. Our oval, much to the children's disappointment, is still very wet and unusable. We also have some restoration going on in the Foundation classroom so play time is still limited at the moment.

This week, we are holding our termly Program Support Group Meetings. These meetings are held each term for the children who we have identified as needing additional supports in the classroom. Due to the number of students in our school requiring additional support, we run these meetings over four days. Michelle, our Senior Leader: Learner Diversity does an amazing job each term co-ordinating these meetings. Our teachers also, as we are all aware, go above and beyond for our students on a daily basis. This is a great opportunity to come together, celebrate learning and set educational goals moving forward. Please note that we have no capacity to reschedule meetings so attending your scheduled meeting is critical.

During our Assembly on Monday we celebrated our 'Student of the Week' for each classroom. Congratulations to the following students;

Foundation: Kehlani

Grade 1/2NH: Carter

Grade 1/2BH: Sasha

Grade 3/4WY: Zayden

Grade 4/5G: Tahlia

Grade 5/6G: Sammy

Our Class DoJo raffle winner this week was also announced. Congratulations to Luke in Grade 1/2BH for taking out the win.

Existing families please note - if you have a child starting Foundation in 2024 please submit your paperwork to us as soon as you can. If you don't have any forms yet, please give us a call and we will organise them for you.

Blessings,

Cassie Lynch
