Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce that our annual STEM Day is just around the corner! On Wednesday, August 16th, our school will be buzzing with scientific curiosity, technological exploration, engineering challenges, and mathematical marvels. We invite your children to dive into the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through a series of engaging activities tailored to inspire and ignite their passion for these fields.

What to Expect:

Our classrooms will transform into centres of innovation and discovery as students embark on a journey to unravel the mysteries of STEM. Throughout the day, they will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on activities, experiments, and projects designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. From creating simple machines to conducting captivating science experiments, your child will have the chance to experience the wonders of STEM firsthand.

Dress Up for STEM Success:

To add an extra layer of excitement to STEM Day, we encourage all students to dress up in creative STEM-themed costumes! Whether they want to portray a favourite scientist, engineer, mathematician, or even their vision of a futuristic inventor, dressing up will enhance their engagement and make the day even more memorable. Students are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation to support the incredible organisation, Deadly Science, which provides STEM resources and events for First Nations kids in remote and regional communities.
