Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden
Inspiration at home
Hi everyone, things are quite different this term with our remote learning in place. Hopefully you have all settled into a routine.
The kitchen garden team encourage you during this time to pop outside and interact with nature, help mum and dad around the garden or even have a go at some of the activities we have attached.
We have also provided a great “no yeast” Pizza Dough recipe for you to try.
The toppings are totally up to your imagination!
Suggested toppings could be: Cheese and tomato
Potato, Rosemary and Garlic
Ham and pineapple
Your favourite toppings
Older students may enjoy being given a particular vegetable and then researching for a new and exciting way to prepare it for the evening meal. Be creative and find a recipe the family has not tried before.
Remember during this time the dinner table becomes a great place for conversations and a place to share how your day went.
Send us your pics!
We would love for you to send in some photos of your pizza, other cooking creations or garden activities so we can share them in our next newsletter. Email to teesdale.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au and in the subject line please type SAKGP photos. Look forward to seeing your creations!
ANZAC Biscuits
Made from accessible ingredients, ANZAC biscuits were a popular choice to send to Australian and New Zealand forces during the war. Help commemorate ANZAC Day on April 25 with our recipe in the link below.
