Welcome

Welcome

Parents,

It is such a pleasure to welcome you to another great school year at Glenview Middle School. My name is Leonard Galloway and I am new principal this year. I am so excited to be a part of the Glenview family. My goal is for us to work together in a partnership to ensure that your child has an effective middle school experience. For those parents new to the middle school era, there is a lot of change that will take place between the time your child is entering sixth grade and leaving for high school. We definitely want to prepare your child for high school, but most importantly we would like to provide them with life skills they will be able to use once they have received their diploma.

As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we must work together to ensure our students reach their full potential. The staff at Glenview Middle School is excited that you have entrusted your child's education to us. It is our goal to create an enriched learning environment which engages each child. I believe that both the school and community must work together to provide our students with successful opportunities.

As we open up another school year, it is my goal to ensure your child is safe and adequately prepared to the make our school and community a better place. With your help and support, we can truly make this happen. I look forward to working with you this year. Welcome to the Glenview Family!
