Year 9
Health & Wellbeing Day

Health and Well-being Day provided Year 9 Students an opportunity to participate in many aspects of wellbeing, from meaningful, physical, mental, and emotional health, social resilience, civic leadership and community relations and interactions. Well-being has never been so important to our lives and livelihoods.
The pandemic has revealed a capacity for change with people adapting mentally and physically within our school community. Health and Well-Being Day investigated and celebrated some of the aspects of personal health from physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual.
With the morning session reflecting on resilience and respect with Headspace, to collaboratively working together in teams to complete the Maffra Challenge. To finishing the day investigating “SUCCESS = WHAT” with Arthur Bolkas, opening to the student's eyes to what world that is out there and how fair or unfair it can really be.
Well-being day was a good opportunity to bring awareness of the importance of mental well-being at Maffra Secondary.
