Atlassian Legacy 

Project

This term, a group of Year 7 and 8 students participated in the Atlassian Legacy Project. The Gippsland Tech School, in partnership with Atlassian and Schools Plus, designed the project for students in Outer Gippsland to engage them with new technologies, new ways of thinking, and future opportunities in their region. The project is designed to support students to develop a legacy project within their local community and learn valuable employability skills along the way.

The project has seen students develop their ability to use the Design Thinking process to identify a challenge within their local community, ideate and prototype solutions to the challenge, and pitch their proposals. The group of students pitched their proposal at the final workshop last week and are excited to implement their project in Term 4.
