T3 Cafe Youth Work Experience Program

Back in Term 3, we ran a trial of the T3 Cafe Youth Work Experience Program which is a mentorship program that involved our Year 11 and 10 mentors guiding and developing Year 7 students key practical skills involved in running the T3 Cafe.

As our first cohort of youth, Chloe Abrook, Ashton Barnes and Preston Garcia had the chance to learn customer service skills, milkshake-making skills and taking cash/eftpos transactions. They have done a fantastic job throughout the term and a huge congratulations for completing the program!

Many thanks to Kemuel Dela Rosa, Charlie O’Sullivan, Abner Onyancha, Amber Hingston, Dahlia Abbas and Alex Yardley for acting as mentors.

We will be running the same program this term with a group of Year 10s as mentors. They will be facilitating the entire program from start until end, including conducting job interviews, selection, training and development of more Year 7 students!

Employee of the Month (August & September 2022)

Congratulations to Kemuel Dela Rosa for being selected as the Employee of the Month

for August. Kemuel has been a super amazing team player and has been nurturing our Year 7 student with their Youth Work Experience program.

Congratulations to Josephine Torrefranca for being selected as Employee of the Month for September. Josephine has been a huge support for the Cafe project and for the team with diligence, loyalty and professionalism.
