This week 14 students participated in a White Card course delivered here at MCC by Annette’s Training from Leeton. A White Card is required to work in the construction industry and is needed by students who wish to do work experience on a building site, and to study VET Construction.

TAFE YES Program Term 4

The following students have enrolled to participate in the Engineering: Introduction to Welding course at Griffith TAFE this term:

 

The YES program aims to give students an introduction to VET courses. This may help them with subject selection and career pathway choices in the future.

 

Congratulations to Beth Piva!

 

 

Beth Piva has been selected by the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) as the only recipient in Griffith of the School Based Traineeship (SBT) in Human Services – Assistant in Nursing for 2023 -2024. Beth will undertake her traineeship during Stage 6 as part of her HSC course. On completion, she will be qualified with the Certificate 3 Assistant in Nursing. This will give her automatic entry into the Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Nursing course. She will also be qualified to work in various health care settings such as hospitals and aged care facilities
