What a busy and productive Term 3 at Albany Rise this year. It is wonderful to see so many of our traditions, events and special learning opportunities all taking place and being planned for Term 4, a positive step forward after the last 2 winters!

Over the past 10 weeks, students have enjoyed taking part in our Year 3/4 Camp, Foundation 100 days, various Athletics events, Incursions, Excursions, and so much more as part of our comprehensive curriculum program. Students have also had the opportunity to enjoy many extra-curricula opportunities, such as choir, instrumental music program, gardening club, soccer group, State School Spectacular, Hub Club, and many other special programs to enhance the growth and learning of individual students.

We are now excitedly looking ahead to Term 4, with our Swimming program for all classes in the last 2 weeks of the year, graduation, the grade 6 Art project, Year 2 sleepover, and of course our ongoing high expectations for literacy and numeracy learning.

Of course, one of the BIG events for Term 4 will be on 21st October, when we all come together at our whole school Fun Fiesta and 50+1 celebration. Rides have been booked, stalls are being organized, many donations have already been collected. We are now eagerly signing up our parent and community helpers for the day. I can’t wait to see everyone on site for this special day next term!
