"Many Wolves .... One Pack"

TERM 1 - WEEK 3

To the St Nicholas School Community

Monday was extremely iconic for many St Nicholas School families, their child’s first official day of Primary School education.

In welcoming our Kindergarten cohort on Monday it was impossible to ignore how precious a position we hold as educators. Our newest members were strong - yet vulnerable, excited - yet scared, ready - yet so young.

At St Nicholas School we thank each family for trusting us with the honor of working in partnership with them to educate their children.

Kindergarten’s first week has been one to remember. Please enjoy a short video highlighting one memorable week.

OPENING SCHOOL MASS

Tomorrow, our students in Years 3-6 and staff will come together for our Opening School Mass. It is a time when we seek God’s guidance and support for the year ahead, a year which promises to be extremely successful. Unfortunately, current restrictions prevent our parent community from attending. Students will wear their sports uniform as normal.

COVID

The COVID pandemic continues to cause pain, anxiety and stress to our school community. I thank our parents and students for your patience and understanding as we follow the guidelines and protocols implemented by the NSW Government and Catholic Schools NSW.

As Principal of St Nicholas School I am always happy to talk to parents and answer their questions. I also remind our community they are encouraged to reach out to the Catholic Schools Office if they have general COVID questions (covid@arm.catholic.edu.au) or concerns about restrictions (complaints@catholic.edu.au).

Have a wonderful week!

John Clery
