A Final 2021 Message
Dear Sacred Heart Community
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our Sacred Heart families, a relaxing and safe holiday break; I hope the Christmas festivities give you the chance to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
I would like to congratulate our Sacred Heart community, on the manner in which you have embraced our 2021 school year. From the enthusiasm and diligence of our beautiful students, the trust and informed cooperation of our parents, and the passion of our staff, it has been a challenging year like no other, but in its own way, a successful year.
Last Monday evening, we farewelled our Year Six students with a beautiful Spirit Filled Liturgy in our school grounds. The graduation liturgy was a celebration of each student’s contribution to the life of our school, an opportunity to reflect upon their time at Sacred Heart and their growth into young teenagers.
On the night, the efforts of four of our students were acknowledged with the receiving of awards. Congratulations to Sienna and Jakob upon receiving the “RSL Award” for outstanding character and leadership, Lily who received the “Jed Carney Award” for resilience and Nicola who received the “Good Samaritan Award” for her personal values of care, compassion and empathy.
On behalf of our Sacred Heart School family, I would like to wish every member of our graduating class every success and happiness as they embark on the next exciting stage of their life journey.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the following families who have their last child departing our school this year. Thank you for the trust you have placed in our school, support and willingness to work with us. We also wish you every success and happiness for the future.
