Principal's Report
Dear Families,
What a positive start to our school year. It is lovely to see the school full of happy and excited children. Staff have slotted easily into the routine and their teams are functioning like well-oiled machines. We welcome Gabby Uhlendorf to our school, she is replacing Maria whilst she is on long service leave.
We are also very appreciative that Jess Healey could fill in for Mrs Sproule whilst she is on leave. Her cheerful and flexible nature has certainly been appreciated during this difficult time of finding replacement teachers.
ASSEMBLY
It was a very proud moment on Monday when we presented our school leaders with their badges. I’m sure they will thoroughly enjoy their role as it unfolds throughout the year.

COVID Update
Thank you for the calm and sensible approach taken by families regarding the latest restrictions and requirements. Our students in Year 3-6 have been fantastic at wearing their masks indoors and thank you to parents for being so organised and sending the children along to school with a mask each day. As masks need replacing (or washing) could I ask our parents of Year 3-6 students to check your child’s bag and ensure they have sufficient supplies of masks each week.
RAT Kits to cover the next 2 weeks have been sent home today. Please check your child’s bag. Just a reminder about the key Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) information
- Students are requested to test twice weekly
- Masks are mandatory for Students in Yr 3-6 unless a lawful exemption applies
SCHOOL COUNCIL
Our first meeting for the year is Monday 21st of February at 6.30pm. The Finance Meeting will be 6.00pm
School Council elections are upon us again. This year we have 5 parents and 1 staff member who have completed their term of office and are up for re-election. They are Emily Crawford, Michael Evans, Kevin Moran, Mark Turner and Meaghan South. Parents are encouraged to consider standing for election.

FOUNDATION ASSESSMENT
Mrs Bathman has commenced these assessments on Wednesdays. So far, she has been very impressed with the knowledge that the students have brought with them to school.
