Congratulations

to Angus Liddell Year 8 Bentleigh campus student recently competed in the State Lifesaving Championships in Lorne.

Angus is a member of the Mentone Life Saving Club, and has been involved in surf lifesaving since a young age.

In the State Championships, Angus achieved a Gold in the U13 Board Relay, a Bronze in the Iron man and a Bronze in the 400m swim race.

To students who may be interested in surf lifesaving, Angus says “Come along and give it a try. It’s a great sport with mixed ages and genders. You never know you may like it’
