We thank you all for attending this year's Production, we could not be more excited to present this show to you! Being Performing Arts captains, we can confidently say that everyone is extremely eager to get on stage and present the show that we have all worked hard to produce. We could not be prouder of the cast and teachers, without them none of this would be possible. Seussical Jr is a comedy fairy tale with many of your beloved childhood fantasies from Dr. Seuss. The books referenced in this play include Horton Hears a Who and Horton Hatches the Egg, while also featuring characters such as the Cat in the Hat, The Grinch, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and many more! Now one of the most widely produced musicals in Australia, Seussical Jr weaves a story of friendship, loyalty and love. The show teaches us the power of being unique and the importance of standing up for what is right.

What a wonderful experience our 2022 Production of Seussical Jr has been! This year’s show focused on the importance of honesty, loyalty and friendship and our cast have been able to demonstrate these values towards each other during our many rehearsals. They have been able to embody their characters from the very start and have been living them through every rehearsal.

Our cast put on 5 amazing shows over Production week.  Our 2 Matinees were to a full audience of our local Primary Schools, we also performed over 3 evenings to our local community.  The shows were all incredible!  To see our cast put on a polished and professional show to packed audiences over the week has made the Reservoir High Community so PROUD.  It is truly amazing to see the talent of our students come to life on stage.

We hope you all had as much fun watching it as we've had bringing it to life! Long live the Performing Arts and its power to transform and nurture the individual through its skills, disciplines and creative processes!
