Immigration Museum
Year 7 Excursion
Thanks to Mr Sirianni and Miss Neophytou for organizing this excursion. It was a fun and a great day. We went to the Immigration Museum and explored the many different immigration stories. We also reflected how our own unique immigration experiences are part of the immigration stories which make up Australia. We had an "Australian Passport" where we completed tasks in the passport. My favourite part was to see the Long Room- it is a long room, as its name suggests. This used to be the exchange, where stocks were traded.
After lunch we went to the State Library of Victoria. I saw Ned Kelly's amour! It was so exciting to see it in person. Next we explored Domed Reading Room, I was surprised by the number of people were studying and reading in the library. Finally we caught the Tram back to school.
