Secondary Sport

School sport will not be on this week due to the Lap-a-thon. Elective sports will resume next week.

 

Berg Shield Cricket

The Berg Shield cricket team had a tough game against O’Connor Catholic College last Thursday. Batting first HTS were all out for 86 with Jake House and Jack Biddle top scored with 12 runs each. In reply O’Connor reached the target in the 15th over. Thank you to Mr Uebergang for coaching the team and well done to all players.

Year 3-6 Sport

Year 1 Swimming

Year 1 will continue their swimming program this week. They will go to the pool by bus each Thursday. Please label all clothing including swimmers, towel, underwear and socks.

 

Primary Swimming

This week Year 3-6 will be going to the Town Pool for stroke development, water safety procedures, rescues and to participate in water activities. Students will be placed in a variety of groups and supervised by classroom teachers and aides. Some ‘Austswim’ qualified instructors will also be employed. Students will travel to the pool by bus from 1:45pm – 3:00pm each Friday, during sport, for 5 weeks. Please return notes and money ($10) ASAP to your child’s classroom teacher if you haven’t already done so. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your classroom teacher or Mrs Dal Santo.
