ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS FOR SALE - DETAILS UPDATED 5/5/19
Entertainment Books contain discount vouchers for various entertainment and food establishments, hotels and motels, etc. Books cost $70 and membership expires June 2020. You can purchase a hard copy Book or Digital Membership.
If you choose to purchase a Book, you can download a free Entertainment Book Companion App on your mobile which has many user-friendly functions; one being the ability to enter a postcode and see all the offers available in that specific area. See Google Play "Entertainment Book", or App Store "Entertainment Australia". You still need to present your Entertainment Gold Card or paper voucher at establishments to redeem discounts.
Hard copies can be purchased straight from the office or if ordering a hard copy online then I believe you can elect to pay online and collect a copy from the office or have it sent to your home (if this last bit is , please let me know).
Digital Membership allows you to use the same app functions on your mobile but also present it at establishments to redeem offers rather than having to remember to carry your book everywhere. Digital Membership can be shared on 2 devices. (I've found the Digital Membership app often sends updates with NEW offers attached so there's some extra value in this membership)

If you wish to order your Book or Digital Membership, please fill out one of the order slips (near display), along with whatever payment method you prefer, and place in envelope provided with your name and contact details clearly indicated on the envelope. Please hand to office staff. I originally ordered 10 hard copies but as these have mostly sold out, a further 10 copies have been supplied. I can organise more if these all sell out.

Each Entertainment Book order (Book or Digital) placed before the end of JUNE will go in a draw for a Basilico Woodfired Pizzeria Restorante voucher for $20 off dinner purchased before 30 November 2019 (minimum spend of $50). Winner will be contacted and announced in newsletter.
This is just something I was given at an Entertainment Book promotional meeting that I'd like to give away to someone else and hope they will enjoy.

The school will be accepting orders till the end of 2019, but obviously you get best value out of the books if you purchase them now or before end of June because then you'll have 12-13 months in which to redeem the vouchers.
Cadbury Chocolate Boxes
The Cadbury Chocolate Box Fundraiser is one of our biggest fundraising events at BHPS.
For this event the school organises boxes of Cadbury's chocolates for parents/students to try to sell (50 pieces at $1 per chocolate, so $50 per box). For anyone interested in taking more boxes to sell, we have plenty of extras so please check with the office.
Please note your box might have an outside label that says it contains 60 chocolates. ALL BOXES HAVE BEEN RESTOCKED AND CONTAIN ONLY 50 CHOCOLATES. Sorry for any confusion.
I've listed the date timeline for this event below and I hope this assists everyone with what's happening.
24 APRIL
The notice re Chocolate Boxes went home on 24 April for parents to decide if they would like to opt in or out, or choose to make a donation to the school instead.
1 MAY
Return notice by 1 May if you wish to opt out of receiving a Chocolate Box for selling.
9 MAY
On 7 May Chocolate Boxes go home to families that have agreed to accept
a box.
25 MAY
Please return any unsold chocolates before 25 May so they can be redistributed for sale.
7 JUNE
Please return money raised by 7 June.
A HUGE Thank you to the Mother's Day stall coordinators, Tracy Vervoort and Sophie McLean. They ran an awesome stall this week. Also, much thanks to the volunteers. You all did a great job.
Hope all our mums, significant others and grandmas/nannas had a brilliant Mother's Day!!!
BHPS Community Hub Meeting -
Monday, 20 May at 7.00 pm.
Anyone who would like to attend is more than welcome. Meetings usually run for about an hour and we discuss fundraising and social events that have just been completed, are in the middle of being organised or about to be started. It's a great chance to meet people and have some input into activities that take place at school. There's no commitment to attend every meeting, just whenever you want to pop your head in and be involved is great.
Ummmmm, believe me, I K-N-O-W it's Game of Thrones night and the final episode of the E-N-T-I-R-E series. I'm on edge just thinking about it but let's try and be at the meeting if we can and just hurry it along a little bit.
