From the PE Desk

Its been an extremely busy time in the PE world with sporting events every Friday over the previous month.

On Friday 19th & 26th May our grade 5s and 6s competed in the Rowville District Winter Interschool Sports Round Robin days. Our students competed in AFL football, soccer, T-ball, volleyball and netball. All students represented the school fantastically and a special congratulations to our netball teams! Our A team and B team became the district champions. While our C team came runner up. Well done Netballers!!!

 We also had 9 students from grade 3 to 6 compete at the Knox Division Cross Country Championships on 2nd June, which was held at the Knox athletics track. These students finished in the top 10 at the District cross country on 5th May to qualify for the division championships. Well done to all involved!

Six students were lucky enough to qualify for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Cross Country Championships which will be held Tuesday 20th June. Best of luck to those students who qualified!

Finally last Friday, we had 64 grade 3 & 4s participate at the Rowville District Hooptime Championship. We had 8 teams entered and out of our 8 teams, 3 teams made it to their grand finals, with 2 other teams reaching the semi finals!

Special congratulations goes to our Girls All Star team who won their grand final and will be competing at the regional hooptime championships later this year. Well done girls!
