You Can Do It

Persistence

In term 4 we are focussing on the foundation of Persistence.  By the end of the year people can get pretty tired and it can be hard to keep persevering.  But when we’re tired we have to push through and persist.  Persistence means trying hard and not giving up when something feels like it’s too hard to do.  Let’s see what amazing rewards can come when you persist!

Some examples of persistent behaviour:

  • Continuing to try even when schoolwork is hard
  • Not being distracted by others
  • Checking and editing work to make sure it’s correct even when you think it’s finished
  • Completing assignments on time
