YEAR 12 PREPARATIONS

Over the September holidays, the majority of Year 12 VCE students will be following a study timetable including classes held at school. Our dedicated Year 12 teachers are determined to prepare your child as well as possible for their November exams. Then in term 4 we have the graduation dinner (Wednesday evening, 24th October) followed by the graduation breakfast and assembly on Thursday morning, 25th October. The assembly commencing at 9am in the Visy Centre is a wonderful celebration of 13 years of primary and secondary education and we welcome parents, guardians and friends along to enjoy this celebration.

VMG SELECTION PROCESS

All our Year 7, 8 and 9 students are currently making decisions on their courses for semester 1 next year. All Year 7 students are asked to return their signed computer printout and teacher sign sheet to their Learning 2 Learn teacher. Year 8 students should return their sheets to their Home group teacher. And Year 9 students are asked to book an interview time on Friday, 12th October to sit with a counsellor for about 10-15 minutes to finalise their selections and enter these online. These bookings can be made by contacting the Main Office.

2019 PRESENTATION BALLS

For the first time in many years we have not had the usual high response for our presentation balls, meaning we may only be able to run one instead of the normal two. This would mean a number of girls and boys would miss out. If your son or daughter is still contemplating doing their “deb” next year, we have extended the application date to Friday, 12th October. They can get an application form from the Main Office.
