Paul Dillon Presentation

A reminder to parents and caregivers of senior students that Paul Dillon will be visiting on Wednesday 22 August to present Alcohol and Drug information sessions. An email with details of these sessions has been sent home to parents of Year 10, 11 and 12 students and we look forward to what will be Paul’s tenth annual visit to the College.

Concordia College have kindly invited any parents and caregivers from our Endeavour community to attend Paul’s evening session at their school on Monday 20 August at 7.30pm in the Concordia College Chapel. I will be in attendance as a representative from Endeavour and any of our parents and caregivers across the Middle and Senior Years are welcome to attend. The focus of Paul’s evening session will be:  Teens, parties and alcohol: A practical guide to keeping them safe. Please be aware that this evening session is for adults, not students.

LOVE + INFORMATION: Questions how Connected we Truly are in This Ever-Connected Age.

Love and Information are profound human needs. But do we know too much?

In her latest hit, Caryl Churchill – arguably the world’s foremost living playwright – has created an ingeniously recognisable portrait of the modern era. With the inventiveness and currency of her signature works Top Girls and Cloud Nine, this unique new play offers glimpses into the lives of over a hundred characters. Adapted and Directed by Jamie Richards, this production is undoubtedly unlike anything you have seen before here at Endeavour College.

Through a series of tantalising vignettes, eleven chameleonic actors will embody more than 100 characters – a child who cannot feel pain, a man in love with a computer voice, a woman with a secret. Like a single beam of light refracted, each scene exposes a different facet of human nature.

A quick-fire play, Churchill’s LOVE + INFORMATION is an exhilarating experience, creating a theatrical kaleidoscope that shrewdly questions how connected we truly are in this ever-connected age.

With a highly eclectic soundtrack with immersive projection design, LOVE + INFORMATION is a dramatic piece not to be missed.
