Sport Report
Our Weekly Vista teams have been off to a good start this term, with two wins on the board. Well done to both our Endeavour Blue Senior Boys Badminton team & Endeavour Gold Year 8 & 9 Girls Netball team who both secured wins. The Year 8 & 9 11-a-side boys Soccer team were not as fortunate, losing to Golden Grove in their first game for the term.
Congratulations to the Year 8 & 9 Knockout Girls Netball Team for progressing to Round 2 of a highly competitive knockout netball competition. Endeavour was unfortunately knocked out, losing both games by one goal. St Peters Girls defeated Endeavour 33-32 and Henley High School also defeated Endeavour with the same scoreline of 33-32. Thank you to Miss Facchin who has put in a lot of effort coaching the team over the past two terms. A thank you must also go to Katie Wyatt for her continued coaching and support of our Netball teams here at Endeavour. We look forward to continuing our development with Vista Netball in Term 3 in readiness for competition in 2019.
Endeavour College entered four teams into the SACSA Basketball competition held over three days in Week 2 at the Morphett Vale Basketball Stadium. The students enjoyed themselves during the competition showing perseverance and a positive attitude throughout the days. The nature of one-day carnivals, means some games are won or lost very quickly and with shortened game length; our overall placings of our teams did not reflect our competitiveness on the day. Thank you to the students who competed and the parents who came to assist and spectate during the carnivals. Thank you also to our Coaches Ms Falero and Mr Pearse for their efforts in trainings and coaching teams.

Season Review
Another successful season for both of our Endeavour College Netball teams. Mawson’s Endeavour Lakers played the Endeavour Elites in the semi-final. The game was very close and competitive, however, the Endeavour Elites managed to take a strong lead in the last half and go through to the next game. The Endeavour Elites went on to play in the Grand Final against the Blueberry Blasters. It was another exciting and competitive game however the Elites just missed out, with the final score, Blueberry Blasters 27 defeating Endeavour Elites 19.
A big thank you to our committed coaches Mandy Weller and Katie Wyatt for another season. It is great to watch the students learning new skills and growing as effective members of a team. We wish both teams all the best as they begin their next season.
