Wantirna College Great Paper Plane Challenge - how far can you go?

It's time to combine your Math and Design skills to create your best paper plane ever! Practice making and flying paper planes to develop your finest design and longest flight. Video and upload your planes and stories, including your name and any design information you wish to share, using Flipgrid https://flipgrid.com/d82d0317 .  You can find some design help here https://www.foldnfly.com/index.html#/1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2 , or visit the Victorian Maths Challenge http://vmc.global2.vic.edu.au/challenges/paper-planes/  for extra tips.

For those who haven't used Flipgrid, it is quite intuitive and can be used either in a web browser or as a mobile app (which is handy for those live action videos). Any questions please email library@wantirnacollege.vic.edu.au

Once we have all returned to school there will be a 'fly-off' - the Wantirna College Great Paper Plane Challenge - how far can you go? The plane that lands the furthest away will win one lucky student the awesome power of controlling a paper plane with a smartphone. Staff members, you have not been forgotten - the staff member whose plane lands the furthest will be awarded a fabulous trophy with which to wow your colleagues. Time to start folding!
