Year Six News

This coming week in Year Six we are hosting another scientist during our afternoon Meet. On Mondays, we have been so lucky to enjoy a season of scientists. Each one-Jenny Martin, Euan Ritchie and Gillis Horner are all busy in their fields looking at solutions and the ways science, and scientists, can solve some of the really big challenges facing our world. It is so exciting for us to hear their stories and to be able to ask questions, and it is so fitting as this is Science Week! We've been to Antarctica and seen what a beautiful and precious part of the world it is. Now we are going to head off to the high country and learn how scientists are going to help manage fire areas in the future, and then we are going to finish with how science and scientists are helping animals and plants to survive.

Heartfelt thanks to our three guest scientists who found the time to meet with us and share their science!
