The year is running out very quickly and the third term is nearly finishing. Although we have another full  term to go for the school year, this is not the same for year 12 students, as we are all aware of.  After the holiday weeks, we are all seeing the end of the school years for them and the end of the year exams lying right in front of them too.

The language students are the first soldiers to face this VCAA exams of the year. This year, 11 Indonesian students and 9 Japanese students are going to face the oral exams on 13th and 19th of October.  Students will sit the exam at an external venue.

During the exam, the students are to bravely walk into a private room one at a time to demonstrate their language skills in front of two examiners for 15 min. This is a most intimidating and nerve racking experience for them and only one chance is given.

Though we have had lots of stress throughout this year, the students have been patient and have been working very hard for this moment and they are feeling mixed emotions between concerned and excited.

We wish them all the very best and we all want them to remember “you are all great!”
