Year 3-6 Sport

Students in Year 3-6 have been participating in a variety of sports in classes, throughout the term and rotating around each teacher. Activities include basketball, cricket, box fit, dance, ball games and oz tag.

Year 1-2 Sport

This term the children are enjoying playing a variety of sports - tee-ball, soccer, netball and touch. The children rotate in classes every 2 weeks to try a new activity.

Year 2 League

Year 2 boys and girls have had the opportunity to participate in some Rugby League skills on the back oval once a week at Snack Break with Mr Koch each Friday. The children are improving their skills, loving the activities and are keen to participate each week. A big thank you to Mr Koch for volunteering his time.

 

This is not a compulsory activity and is optional for all children. Students must have school hats and a water bottle and should be in full school sports uniform, as per normal Friday sport.

Kindergarten King Fit

This is the last week that Kindergarten will go to the King Fit Lifestyle Centre. They have had a great few weeks improving coordination, strength and agility. Cost has been $3 per child. Each week. Could all outstanding IOU's please be paid to classroom teachers by this Friday. If you have any concerns please let your class room teacher know.

K-6 Jump Rope For Heart

Jump Rope for Heart is well underway and its great to see so many children out in the playground skipping with smiles on their faces. Our school has now raised over $5000. Our Jump Off Day is getting closer, Friday 4 September, so keep the children practicing those tricks. The Heart Foundation has teamed up with 'Spring Free', and have one Springfree trampoline worth $2,684 to give away.  Any student who has registered online and participates in the program through Term 3 goes into the draw to win the Springfree Trampoline for their home.

Secondary Sport

Students will be participating in a range of activities during this term including netball, softball, touch, league-tag, all sports, tennis and soccer. Students are reminded to bring a hat and a water bottle.
