Primary Notices for Week Commencing February 3

William Cowper Campus Carpark… How To:

It is really important that we get this right. The safety of our community is paramount, and you play a vital role in this. Please follow these instructions to ensure a smooth arrival and departure for all our students.

Kiss and Drop Lane

  1. Stay in the car. Staff will open the door and buckle your child in, if need be.
  2. Do not overtake, just wait patiently in the queue.
  3. Please proceed to the front of the queue. Don’t stop at the top crossing to let students out, this slows everyone down.
  4. In the afternoon, please use your windscreen signs, showing your surname. This helps staff to quickly find your children and keep the traffic moving.

Car Park

  1. Please park within the school grounds, not on the nature strip.
  2. Please use the top crossing only, if you have parked.
  3. Do not cross between the buses
  4. Please get out and collect your children, do not let them walk to the car without you, especially in the gravel carpark
  5. Please drive slowly
  6. Do not use the bus lane

Parent Information Night

This year, as well as hearing from the Class Teachers, there will also be an Infants Session and a Primary Session where parents will hear from the Head of Primary. Please prioritise attendance at your child's class session as well as the relevant Infants or Primary session.

Manilla Principals Tour

If you live in Manilla or nearby, we’re coming to visit! The Calrossy Community is gathering for afternoon tea at 2pm at Warm Conversations, Manilla St, Manilla and we would love you to join us. I look forward to seeing our Manilla families.

Lunches

Sushi Orders decreased in Term 4 and we are seeking feedback as to whether this should continue, or if there is an alternate that we could provide. We have not committed to another term, as yet. Please contact Mrs Melanie Archbold primaryadmin@calrossy.nsw.edu.au if you have any suggestions or feedback.

Qkr!

Could all parents please roll their children into their new year group for 2020. This can be done by selecting Calrossy Anglican School, Profiles, then click the arrow next to your child and roll them into their correct year group. This is particularly important when placing lunch orders to ensure lunches go to the correct classrooms.
