Year 9 Students Begin

The 2019 school year begins for Year 9 students on Wednesday, 30 January. All Year 9 students are expected to attend school on this day.
Term 1 Begins (Yr 10 - 12)
| Thursday, 31 January
Term 1 for students in Year 10 to 12 commences on Thursday, 31 January. All students are expected to attend school on this day.
House Swimming Carnival
| Tuesday, 5 February
The 2019 House Swimming Carnival will be held on Tuesday, 5 February, and will take place off-campus at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre! Students in all year levels are expected to attend, and must make their own way to and from the venue.
VCE Information Evening
| Wednesday, 6 February
All VCE students and parents are invited to attend an information evening on Wednesday, 6 February. Info sessions will be held in the SCHS Auditorium; please check Compass for more information closer to the date.
Year 9 Learning Program
| 11 - 15 February
Year 9 Term 1 orientation will conclude with the Learning & City Program, running the week of Monday, 11 February to Friday, 15 February. Students will put their skills to the test as they compete for the Primus Cup, concluding with a showcase for parents. Please check Compass closer to the date for more info.
Meet The Teachers Night
| Tuesday, 19 February
Parents are invited to attend the Meet The Teachers Night on Tuesday, 19 February, to acquaint themselves with their child's classroom and home-group teachers. Please check Compass closer to the date for more information.
House Athletics Carnival
| Wednesday, 27 February
The 2019 House Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday, 27 February, and will take place at the Victoria University Sports Track, opposite the SCHS campus. Students in all year levels are expected to attend.
Labour Day Holiday
| Monday, 11 March
The Labour Day public holiday will be on Monday, 11 March. As this is a public holiday, no students are required to attend school on this day.
Year 9 Camp
| Wed 20 - Fri 22 March
The Year 9 Camp to Phillip Island will run from Wednesday, 20 March to Friday, 22 March. More information about the Camp will be provided in early Term 1, 2019.
