Foundation to Year 2

Our Preps celebrated their 100 Days of School! Congratulations to you all!

The 100th day of school is here,

It’s time to celebrate and cheer.

But before we look too far ahead,

Let’s think of all we’ve learned instead.

Reading, writing and STEM too,

Investigations and classroom rules.

We learned how great a friend can be,

With kindness, trust and honesty.

We learned to always give our best,

No matter how hard the hardest gets.

When you believe that you can grow,

A shining star is what will show!

Last Thursday we went to the Melbourne Museum. One special thing we saw was Horridus the triceratops. Something we learnt was where dinosaurs come from. Horridus was found in Montana, USA. We liked the excursion to the museum because we got to see so many special things! LS2

Visit to the Museum

By LS3

On Thursday 21st July I went to the Melbourne Museum. One special thing I did was go to the Bugs Alive exhibition.

One thing I learnt was that Triceratops had the biggest head. Another thing I learnt was that Triceratops lived 67 million years ago.

I think Triceratops was a herbivore. I feel good because I saw bones. I wonder why Horridus died.

I liked the excursion to the Melbourne Museum because I saw Horridus.

On Thursday 21st July I went to the Melbourne Museum. One special thing I did was see Horridus.

One special thing I learnt was that the name of the biggest dinosaur in Australa was Australotitan. Another thing I learnt was that Horridus lived 67 million years ago.

I think it was so much fun looking at the exhibitions. I felt amazement at the exhibitions because just looking at Horridus was so cool. I wonder if they will find any more fossils of Horridus.

I liked the excursion to the Museum because I liked looking at the real fossil of Horridus.

I went to the Melbourne Museum. One special thing I did was look at the dinosaurs.

One thing I learnt was not to touch the boundaries. Another thing I learnt was not to be so loud.

I think the spider show was scary. I felt excited to see the spider exhibition. I saw one in glass. It was so cute. I saw none of the poisonous frogs. I wonder how Horridus died.

I liked the excursion to the Museum because it was fun!

On Thursday 21st July we went to the Melbourne Museum. One of my favourite parts of the museum excursion was to see Horridus.

I learnt that Triceratops have the biggest head out of all the dinosaurs and that the biggest dinosaur to roam Australia was the Australotitan Coopensis.

I thought the Museum was really cool. I also felt that it was one of the best excursions ever. I’’m wondering how all the dinosaurs ever existed.

I loved the excursion to the Museum because I learnt so much.
