Jeans 4 Genes Day

Friday 5 August

As we know, the Campbell Cowgirls and Cowboys love their blue, and love their blue jeans! Campbell House is proudly supporting our College Fundraiser for Jeans for Genes day next Friday, 5 August. For a gold coin donation, all primary and secondary students can come to school dressed in appropriate denim attire!

** No ripped jeans or ripped shorts are permitted. If wearing denim shorts or skirts, please be mindful of their length. Thank you

Every dollar we donate goes directly to the Children's Medical Research Institute and helps them find treatments and cures for children's genetic diseases.

Did you know that…

1 in 20 kids face a birth defect or genetic disease

Kids just want to be kids, but instead of playing sports with their friends or catching butterflies on a sunny day, kids with genetic diseases are getting liver transplants, taking dozens of medications, or getting their next dose of chemotherapy. It shouldn't be this way. By donating through Jeans for Genes, you can help the scientists at Children's Medical research Institute find cures, so these kids can go back to being kids.

No child's life should be cut short. We will do all within our power to change "incurable" to "curable".

RNA Show Day Public Holiday

Sports Gear

All students in Prep to Year 5 are welcome to wear their sports uniform on the days they have HPE. To assist with the transition to Secondary School, Year 6 students are asked to please bring their sports uniform to school with them in their sports bags and to change in and out of their uniform for their lesson.

Years 3 to 6 STEMPunks Incursion

By 5M

This week, we had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with the team from Stem Punks, thinking about innovative solutions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We measured air quality, light levels and soil moisture. Following these activities, we decided between the goals of creating spaces that promote well-being or ensuring access to affordable and reliable energy for all. In groups, we created our spaces using Minecraft Education. Cafes, hospitals and sports clubs were designed with thought given to our chosen goal. We enjoyed these activities as we considered sustainability in our world.

Year 6 Artist Incursion

The Year 6 cohort had a fantastic morning with artist David Wells, working on their self-portraits. The students were guided expertly through the process and given individualised tips as they worked on their pieces. The results were amazing and we’re looking forward to sharing them with you in the upcoming exhibition.
