Assistant Principal 

With the new semester now in full swing it has been great to see students continuing to engaging in lessons and activities across the college. Last week we have been celebrating science week with daily lunch time activities such as solar powered cars, kaleidoscope making and DIY light globes, as well as daily trivia and an m&m guessing competition being just some of the activities being enjoyed. 

Our SRC also ran their first out of uniform day for the term to raise money for the cancer council. Our Pink Accessories Day was able to raise $744 to go towards breast cancer awareness and research. Our next out of uniform day will be held on September 13th and will be a footy colours day to celebrate the finals occurring at the same time, raising money to go towards our sponsor child. 

Patent Teacher Conferences are occurring this term, again running both online and on-site. These will occur in weeks nine and ten of the term. Compass communication has already gone out with regards to this. Please keep an eye on compass communication for upcoming details and updates.

Please also be aware that Year 7 Immunisations are occurring on Friday the 2nd of September. The Vaccine will be the second dose of HPV to follow up from those students who received their first dose in March. Those student who had missed any initial vaccinations will also be assisted at this time.
