Whittlesea Tech School

This semester the Year 8s have been participating in an entrepreneurship program where students form mini companies and create an innovative product which, using a token economy where no real money is exchanged, they will sell to other students from a market stall during a lunchtime in Term 4. During the last two weeks all classes have had the opportunity to travel to the Whittlesea Tech School to create a range of different products such as food produce, key rings, tote bags and 3D moulds to make chocolate shapes. This gave students the opportunity to make prototypes of their product and test out recipes and designs. Next semester, they will return to the Tech school to create their product which they will sell at a market day.
