Student Support Group (SSG) Meetings - Term 3

Bookings for Term 3 Student Support Group (SSG) meetings are open on Compass. The SSGs will take place on Tuesday 9th of August and this day will be a ‘Variation to School Day’ running from 10am - 6pm. These meetings will run for 30 minutes and can be face to face or via WebEx. Students are not required to attend school on this day however are encouraged to participate in the SSG where appropriate. 

 

You should have received information from your classroom teacher outlining the specialist and elective teachers your child has for Semester Two. (*Please note that bookings with specialist teachers are only 15 minutes in duration). The Allied Health team will be attending relevant bookings with the classroom teacher. For information on 'How to book an SSG through Compass' and 'How to join a WebEx meeting', please see the information provided on Compass. 

 

The Concord Café will be open between 10.00am - 2.00pm should you wish to purchase a coffee or hot drink during this time (no food will be available).

Semester 2 Individual Education Plans 

On Friday 5th August, your child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) for Semester 2 will be available on Compass. To access the Individual Education Plan, please go to: Profile (Attendance, Schedule, Reports) > Reports tab > 2022 – Individual Education Plan – Semester 2

 

This Individual Education Plan will be discussed with your child’s teacher at the Student Support Group meetings on Tuesday 9th August. If you have any questions about your child’s IEP in the meantime, feel free to contact your child’s classroom teacher or your section Team Leaders.

Term 3 Pupil Free Day - Monday August 29th 

The Education Department has recommended that schools continue to hold their professional practice day on the same day for all staff by providing a pupil free day. Professional Practice Days provide an opportunity for staff to work collaboratively to effectively plan for the term ahead as well as participate in targeted professional development.

 

Concord School will have a whole school Professional Practice Day in Week 8 on Monday 29th August. Students will not attend school on this day.
