Co-curricular - Junior Sport

As we move into Term 4 and the second half of the Summer sport season, the Junior School will be moving away from using Team App and concentrating on sending all information regarding Co-curricular through the St Patrick’s College App. All the same information will be available as previously on Team App with draft season draws, training schedules and weekly fixtures all to be found there. The draft season draw and weekly fixtures will also be made available via the College website.

The training schedule is still in development and will need to be checked over the coming school holidays as new coaches are allocated to teams. It is my intention to keep training sessions as close to the Term 1 schedule as possible. Please check closer to the return of school for any changes and updates. Boys will need to be prepared for training on their return to school, Monday 10 October.

A reminder to all families that the summer draft draw is a guide only and intended to help families plan long term for the season. The draw is subject to weekly changes and is confirmed in the week leading up to the round to be played. Boys are strongly encouraged to view the weekly fixtures in their classroom and are to note times and venues in their diaries. The information will also be available on the SPC App each week for families.

The tennis training structure will continue as per Term 1, with one session per week on Monday afternoons for Term 4. Boys will travel to Strathfield on the 579 bus with Mr Stephenson. They will then walk up to Santa Sabina Del Monte campus to train. All boys must be collected from Carrington Avenue by 4:45 PM.

I would like to wish all the members of the Junior School community a safe and relaxing holiday period. May the time spent together be fruitful and allow you all to recharge, ready for a busy Term 4. I look forward to seeing all the boys out on the fields, courts and diamonds on their return.
