Canteen News

Due to our weekly Basketball sessions running through our usual Friday lunch break, the canteen will not be running until Week 8 this term. We look forward to starting again on Friday the 9th of September. 

PT & F Presidents Report

Thank you to those who dialled in to our PT&F meeting last week. You can find the minutes from this meeting below. 

A couple of items I wanted to tell our community about are below:

Year 5/6 Fundraiser

Rachel Coward has been instrumental in gathering a group of year 5/6 parents together to help raise funds for our students heading off to Canberra in November.

In total, $3311 was raised which means each family was less $236.50 from the total cost of the trip. 

Thank you to Rach and to all the parents who helped gather items for the raffle, selling tickets at IGA and baking items for sale. It's amazing what we can do together.

Colour Fun Run 

It's back!! Bigger and better than the first time. 

Save the date for the 2022 St Joseph's Colour Fun Run - Sunday 9th October at the Quirindi Showgrounds. 

Jenni Hird is putting together a Sub-Committee to assist in the preparation and would love your help. 

If you would like to dedicate some time this term to bring this event to life, please contact Jen on 0409 719 905 or comment via the post on the parent facebook page. 

Many hands make light work and a fantastic event!!

And don't forget to share this flyer with your friends! It will be a wonderful community event.

Wizard of Oz

The PT&F will be putting together some supper boxes to sell at the performance of The Wizard of Oz. These will be available to purchase on the night. 

We ask that you please pre-order through the Eventbrite function sent out by school. Drinks will also be available on the night.

After the performance, guests and parents will be having a cuppa and cake. Any donations of your best bake would be appreciated.

Our next PT&F meeting is in Week 6, Wednesday 24th August and again via Zoom. It is easy to tap on and listen in.
