Year 5/6 Interrelate program

Albany Rise Primary School proactively provides learning opportunities to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment. Our Respectful Relationships program includes students learning about positive relationships and personal safety.

Students in Years 5 and 6 will take part in a school based incursion with highly-trained and skilled educators, who will deliver age appropriate programs that assist children and parents to communicate with each other about fundamental emotional and social development issues. The program aims to ensure students know the range of possible consequences of relationships and assist in help-seeking behaviour. Research shows that if young people are given accurate and reliable information, they are more able to make good choices. Information about the programs can be found here: https://www.interrelate.org.au/programs-services/schools
