Oreo Cream Cups and Spanakopita

Year 9/10 Patisserie Class

Year 9/10 Pâtissier Class finished their Design Brief "Dessert in a Glass"

Students followed the five steps of the Design Process, which led them to their final product - Oreo cream Cups. 

Students learnt how to make chocolate ganache and were able to work on their 

'piping skills' to complete this task successfully.

We have had a busy end in the kitchen for the Year 9/10 Pâtissier Class

Students made Spanakopita, this was the first time for a lot of students working with Filo Pastry. There was lots of concentrating amongst students when the time came to folding the pastries!  Well worth the effort in the end.
