In Writing this week we have applied the structure of an information report to draft and edit our work to have the correct labels and headings for each section of our writing. 

VOCABULARY

Research: Search for facts and information

Plan: Organising your research and thoughts in a structured way

Draft: Putting ideas into sentences and paragraphs

Information Report Structure:

1. Heading 
2. Subheading
3. Label 
4. Diagram
5. Conclusion 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child what topic they have chosen to research at school. Together you could create a diagram about their topic showing its parts or how it works using labels and arrows.
