Daily Review

Hello families!

As a school, we have continued to focus on the ‘Big Ideas’ in Mathematics in the classrooms and have introduced a Daily Review to commence each lesson. Our Daily Reviews target the ‘Big Ideas’ each day, as well as other strands and substrands of Mathematics that could otherwise be forgotten. Most of us have experienced the ‘forgetting curve’ when you learn something new, but forget as the information is not embedded.

Below are some examples of our Junior School Daily Review. You will notice that the yellow circle icon in the top right corner indicates a choral response, while the blue circle indicates a mini whiteboard problem to be recorded and shared.

We are excited to see and hear our students become more confident in their Daily Review practice.

Ask your child how they are finding the Daily Review. We would love to hear your feedback!
