Year 9 Outdoor Education 

Students studying Year 9 Outdoor Education have completed their Mountain Bike Riding excursions at Lysterfield Park. Students enjoyed the day Mountain Bike Riding whilst seeing several Kangaroo’s up close. 

Fitness First Aid

Students studying Year 9 Fitness and First Aid completed their CPR qualification. Well done to those students who completed the course. 

Year 12 Outdoor and Environmental Studies 

Students studying Year 12 Outdoor and Environmental Studies attended their Urbansurf excursion where they completed a surf lesson. Students will be assessed on the artificial wave machine that creates the perfect wave for students to surf on. They will also assess the impacts this environment has on relationships. The class also visited the Ramsar Wetlands in Edithvale to develop a better understanding of the importance of the Internationally recognised Ramsar Wetlands, and how keeping this environment is important to support migratory bird species. Students are working hard to gain as much knowledge from these two environments to apply to their assessments. Well done to all the students enrolled in the class.
