Robotics Club

The RoboSapiens Robotics Club has news to share.

From Thursday  29 June to Sunday 2  July, we are going to Sydney for the FIRST LEGO League Challenge SuperPowered!  Asia-Pacific Internationals, and are the only school representing Victoria's South Eastern Region. Our team, the "MGSC Monsters," will compete as the Wild Card in this competition, which will have more than 500 participants from the USA, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, South Korea, and many other countries.

Making and practising new codes for the robot game, getting team jackets, making gift bags, and practicing our presentation on a solar car are all part of the preparation for Internationals. The car uses a solar panel, regenerative braking, and a wind turbine, also known as Hybrid Energy System. We even made a working prototype! Representing the school at this event is Millie Bennet, Elsa Yu, Taliah O'Quely, Grace Liu, Harper Jekot and Parnian Mellat.

As young women in the STEM field, our team embodies the wonderful attributes of our area  and possesses limitless potential. We are creative, dependable, cohesive, and fiercely competitive.
