College Matters

Parents and Friends' Association

The PFA have been busy this term approving grant applications. From term 3 students and families will start to see how the PFA's financial contributions are improving resources and equipment to benefit our students' learning. The focus is now to run activities and events to replenish funds to run the grants program annually.

Second-hand Uniform Shop

The PFA run shop plays a vital role in fundraising. We are always looking for more volunteers to assist in the shop. It doesn’t need to be a regular role. It can even be just as an emergency. If you think this could be you please contact the PFA.

Items placed with the shop for sale from 1 July 2023 will be at a commission of 50%. More information will be circulated in term 3.  Families may like to give their used items as a donation and the sale price will go fully to the school via the PFA.  Both contributions support our students and gratefully accepted.

Supporting the school & students

In addition to the uniform shop we are planning a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and a social event. Stay tuned for dates and details.

We are not only just about raising money. We also enjoy assisting the school at events such as the Information evening for the 2024 Year 10 and Year 11 students. The hot tea and coffee served was a welcome addition on what was a very cold night.

Term 3 is looking like a busy time and all volunteers are welcome. Its' not too late to get involved. Volunteer enquiries to: pfapresident@mgsc.vic.edu.au.
