Growing Sunflowers
As part of the SLC5's Integrated unit on change we have been growing sunflowers in our classroom. Before starting we read some books about trees and plant change and explored how they help our environment. As a class, we used videos and sequencing activities to understand what the different stages of a sunflower seed was. The students have enjoyed being able to plant their own sunflowers and watch them grow.
