GREATER WESTERN SENIOR NETBALL COMPETITION RESULTS
Today, Tuesday 6th June, our Horsham College Senior Netball Team represented our school at the Greater Western Competition held in Ballarat. The girls played exceptionally well in very fast paced games against strong competition. Well done to all that participated.
Match Results:
First Game – Horsham College 14 lost to Mercy Regional College 36
Second Game – Horsham College 20 defeated Warrnambool College 15
Semi Final – Horsham College 16 lost to Trinity College 35
GREATER WESTERN REGION INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR BOYS FOOTBALL
On Tuesday the 6th of June our senior and intermediate football teams headed to Ballarat to compete in the Greater western region finals .
The Senior boys coached by Mr Hose came up against some strong opposition early, Losing there first two games against Trinity and Warrnambool college. Their 3rd game produced a much better result winning against Timboon 51-0. In heavy, Cold and wet conditions the boys showed great grit and determination to fight the day out and get a win in their last game.
The Intermediate team coached BY Mr Schulz started the day well with a strong win against Ballarat 29-19 , In the second game we faced an equally strong team from Mercy college. We took a Nice lead early in the game but with Mercy fighting back in the second half , the final score had us 31-31 . unfortunately the Drawn game left us out of the final by percentage only.
Despite Results all boys played the games with fantastic spirit and great Sportsmanship displaying all the values of Horsham College .
GREATER WESTERN JUNIOR GIRLS FOOTBALL
On Thursday 8th June, our 7 & 8 Girls Football team headed down to Warrnambool to compete and represent our school in the Greater Western Junior Girls Football Championships.
The girls played hard in cold and windy conditions and came away with one win. All girls displayed tremendous team work in all games, encouraging one another and displaying our school values of care, character and commitment all day.

Second Game - Horsham College 0 lost to Emmanuel Warrnambool 1
Third Game - Horsham College 7 defeated Mercy Regional College 1
Fourth Game - Horsham College 6 lost to Ballarat High School 26
