Let's get DOWNball to business

This week, Downball Australia visited CHPS and provided free workshops during PE lessons for years 1-6.  Students thoroughly enjoyed this passtime game, and each student was very lucky to receive a free Downball to take home.  We hope this encourages students to play Downball either at school or at home, as it can be played anywhere with minimal equipment and space. Thank you to all the coaches and if students are interested, Downball Australia runs tournaments in our local area.

House Athletics

Term 3 is fast approaching, which means House Athletics for Middle and Senior levels.  If you are interested and available on the following dates to volunteer, we would greatly appreciate your help.

Tuesday 18th July - Senior House Athletics (Yarra Ranges Athletics Track)

Thursday 20th July - Middle House Athletics (Yarra Ranges Athletics Track)

Senior Gala Day

The next Senior Gala Day is also coming up in Week 1 of Term 3 (Thursday 13th July). Please return sport uniform permission forms to Mr. Lewis so uniforms can be distributed early in the week. If you are able to assist on the day, please email Robert.Lewis@education.vic.gov.au
