Pride Week

We celebrated Pride Week during the week of 20th February.  Ms Kennedy, our Inclusion and Diversity Learning Specialist, and our Director of Wellbeing Kerri with assistance from the Art department organised lunchtime activities for the students to partake in. These included badge making and rainbow chalk drawing.  Students were also invited to participate in a creative writing challenge using the inspiration of the Pride Week motto: 'Be Brave, Be Strong, Be You'.

To be brave strong and yourself is a major feat,

Being brave through the darkness is sweet,

Strong means showing your strength through a weak and tough time,

And showing the truest version of you is a challenge but in the end you shine.          - Ayla Bozkurt 8C

Staff also dressed in the colours of the rainbow and decorated their offices.
