Swimming Carnival Fun!

Last Thursday night we held our annual St Joey's Swimming Carnival. It was lovely to see so many parents at the carnival and the fun our students experienced was evident on their smiling faces. Our carnival is pretty special, providing all students with opportunities to participate in a variety of events. I would like to thank all of our parent volunteers who helped make the running of the carnival so smooth, as well as a special thanks to our 5 amazing teenagers (Jack, Jade, Harry, Will and Ella) who assisted students in the pool. A special thank you to our awesome PT & F for the yummy BBQ, your work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed.

Congratulations to Ryder Hird, Andy Bartholomew, Hayden Stockwell, Alex Davis, Ricky Hird and Jorja Jamieson for qualifying for the Armidale Diocesan Swimming Carnival to be held this Friday in Gunnedah. Swim hard and have fun! We are very proud of you!
