Wow what a start to 2023. Stage 2 has come back to school and settled into our learning like champions. The Year 3s have been introduced to our new routines and learning expectations and the Year 4s are relishing the opportunity to be the leaders in our room.
In literacy we are beginning to focus on learning to write paragraphs and informative texts. Below you can see that they were learning about facts and opinions. The students put their opinions about their animal in the drawing and the facts around the drawing. They are just so clever!
They also are looking at using specific language when writing an Information Report. Here are their slides that they did to practise this.
In Maths we have been collecting, displaying and intrepeting data. The students have really enjoyed this unit and they have excelled in their bookwork and online. See some of their work below and some of the interactive games they were using.
