Drop-off & Pick-up

Students are to be delivered to school from 8.30 am onwards but not before. Staff cannot monitor before 8.30 am. All students should arrive at school before 8:50 am. Music will play over the school PA for a few minutes before the 8:50 bell. You are not late if you arrive during the music, but be quick to get to class before the bell sounds. School Assembly / Devotions is the first activity of the day and is a very important activity. Students settle and take part in Bible reading and prayer. Important notices are given out, and students who are late are likely to miss out on something they need to know. It is also a significant disruption when students walk in late. Students who arrive late must check in at the front desk. It is a regulatory requirement that schools ask parents to provide an explanation when a student is late or absent. This can be written in the student’s diary or entered into the Sentral app/portal.

Students must be picked up from school between 3:30 pm and 3:50 pm.

CSEF

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities like:

school camps or trips
swimming and school-organised sport programs
outdoor education programs
excursions and incursions.

The annual CSEF amount per student is:

• $125 for primary school students

• $225 for secondary school students.

Victorian Conveyancing Allowance

The Department of Education and Training (the Department) provides travel assistance in the form of a conveyance allowance to help families in rural and regional Victoria with the cost of transporting their children to their nearest appropriate school/campus. The conveyance allowance is a contribution towards transport costs and is not intended to cover the full cost of transporting children to and from school. The allowance is an acknowledgement of the limited government-provided transport infrastructure available outside metropolitan Melbourne. To be eligible for the conveyance allowance a student must reside in Victoria at least 4.8 km from school.

Application forms must be completed and returned to the school. Those who have done this in previous years don't need to apply again unless they have moved or other details have changed (e.g. new student in the family, started/stopped using the bus etc). NSW School Drive Subsidy

The School Drive Subsidy is administered by Transport for NSW and is available to NSW residents in areas where there is no public transport, to drive an eligible student all or part of the way to school. The subsidy is only intended to partly offset the cost of using a private vehicle to drive the eligible student and is not intended to cover all costs. The subsidy is for driving school students to school or to the nearest transport pick up point, by car, motorcycle or boat.
